Sign in to your account and click the Orders tab to view new requests. Any requests that are awaiting quotes can be found under Requests for Quotes. You are able to post a message to acknowledge the requester or to ask for more information by clicking on the request that you would like to respond to. Creating a quote will issue a formal quotation or, you can decline the request. Declining a request will not negatively impact your search rankings. Do your best to respond within 2 business days – we have found responsive service providers earn more orders.
Alternatively, you will receive an email notification when there is a new quote request or message, and you can reply from that email, which will copy your message to the Order # page.
It is important to keep written communication on the platform. In the rare case of a dispute, the messages become an audit trail. That being said, we absolutely encourage phone calls! We simply ask you to provide a brief summary of what you covered in the conversation on the order page.
