Tips on using Science Exchange for R&D services.

How do I upload a file?

The order page serves as a centralized, secure location for storing and exchanging files and documents, such as relevant publications, images, legal agreements, and results.

1. You can upload documents to your messages on the order timeline by clicking the Attach File icon within the box where you post messages to the Provider (1).
2. Use the Attachments tab for viewing all attachments (2).

You may choose files from any location on your hard drive (Science Exchange’s file uploader supports all file formats).

The file upload speed depends on your network’s infrastructure and computing limitations.

Uploaded files are stored for a minimum of 5 years in Amazon AWS Secure S3 buckets.

How to zip (compress) a file:

  1. Locate your file or folder of interest.
  2. Press and hold (or right-click) the file, and select “Compress [insert file name].”
  3. A new zipped file is created in the same location. To rename it, press and hold (or right-click) the file and select “Rename.”
