Tips on using Science Exchange for R&D services.

Collaborate with colleagues

We provide a comprehensive project management platform. Once you’ve submitted a request to one or many Providers, you’ll have an order management page that is private between yourself, each Provider, and your collaborators.

Collaborators are visible on the top left-hand side of the Request page:

To invite your colleague(s) to collaborate with you on the project:

  1. Click the Collaborators box on the top-left side of the Request page
Manage Collaborators at the Request Level

2. In the popup modal, start typing your collaborator’s name or email address, select their name, and whether they should have “edit” or “view” access to your order. Click “Add Collaborator.” You can also change permissions for existing collaborators.

3. Your collaborator will receive an email from Science Exchange with the invitation to collaborate on this order.

What is the difference between a “Edit” and “View” access for collaborators?

  • Collaborators with “Edit” access can post messages on the timeline, accept and decline quotes, submit payments, and mark orders as complete.
  • Collaborators with “View” view activity on the order page and post messages on the timeline. They do not have influence over the order status.
